In this concert the Zelman Symphony, under the baton of Basil Hawkins, presents two outstanding symphonic works from the early twentieth century: Prokofiev's symphonic suite, 'Lieutenant Kije' and the second Symphony by Jean Sibelius. The orchestra is also joined by the soprano Emily Wang in three brilliant concert arias by Mozart.
