Vincent Street, Daylesford.

British Masterworks

This concert features two cornerstones of the British 20th century repertoire - Elgar's elegiac Cello Concert, composed in the aftermath of the first world war, and Vaughan Williams' Fifth Symphony, first performed during the second world war. And in a tribute to the late Sir Charles Mackerras, we present his adaptation of Sir Arthur Sullivan's music into the comic ballet, Pineapple Poll.

This concert is being presented by Hepburn Shire U3A and is supported by a grant from the Shire of Hepburn.
