We launch our fantastic 2013 Season with two of the greatest works in all music. This is music that is passionate, personal, powerful and timeless.

Ji Won Kim joins us for the Beethoven Violin Concerto, one of the most sublime pieces ever penned. The Beethoven will be partnered with Tchaikovsky's wonderful Fifth Symphony, a work whose appeal and power never wanes.

Artistic Director Mark Shiell will also present a preconcert talk, commencing at 7.30pm.
